The term Cuvée Grand Cru, literally translated, refers to a blend (Cuvée) of two Grand Crus (exceptional quality).

The first Grand Cru: Emerald, renowned top progenitor and influential stallion.

The second Grand Cru: Cualoma II SB
Cualoma II SB descends from the esteemed Dutch “Loma” line, mare-line 022, breeding family 75.
Between October 1, 2006, and February 28, 2007, the Dutch mare-line 022, including the Loma line, was recognized as the world's leading jumping lineage thanks to horses such as Casadora and Paloma. Apart from the significant number of successful sport horses from this lineage, the key characteristics include correct conformation, exceptional movement with rhythm and elasticity, and, perhaps most importantly, an outstanding work ethic—a hallmark that still defines the Loma line today.

Cualoma’s sire, Quasimodo Z (Quidam x Carthago), is also a product of the Loma line, though from a different branch.
Cualoma’s dam produced 11 offspring, including 8 sport horses, of which 5 are black-type horses.

Cualoma II SB is a half-sister to Daveau (Jonathan Miller), classified at 1.65m, Golddigger (Guy Williams), a breeding stallion classified at 1.60m, and the 1.45m-classified horses Excell SB, Express SB, and her full brother Quasmo CK Z. Her full sister Cualoma I SB is nationally classified at 1.40m.

Listing all black-type horses from the Loma line might be unnecessary, but perhaps these notable 1.60m competitors ring a bell:

Cuvée is a natural-born sport horse. Although she does not share Emerald's distinct color, she possesses remarkable quality. Unlike her dam, she is very long-legged yet retains the outstanding character and temperament for which the Loma line is renowned. She is easy to handle, has an excellent disposition, is uncomplicated, and displays blood when necessary.

Remarkably, she stood effortlessly soon after birth, demonstrating ease and elegance in movement. A truly complete sport foal, she is well-built with an expansive walk and exceptional canter.
