As a direct grandson of the legendary mare Cordula de Laubry, this chic colt foal has all the potential to become a future ‘grand slam’ winner. What’s in a name!

His dam, Folie de Muze (by Nabab de Rêve), is the very first daughter of Cordula de Laubry and was successful at the 1.45m level herself. Cordula de Laubry remains the undisputed number one on the ranking of the best broodmares in the world. She owes this title to no less than 13 direct offspring jumping at 1.45m or higher. These include Global (1.60m, by Nabab de Rêve), Hautaine de Muze (1.50m, by Nabab de Rêve), Komeet van de Bisschop (1.60m, by Nabab de Rêve), Brooklyn Heights (1.60m, by Nabab de Rêve), and Lord de Muze (1.60m, by Nabab de Rêve), all of which are full siblings of Folie de Muze. Not to be forgotten are the well-known stallions Fantomas de Muze (1.60m) and Lector van de Bisschop (1.60m, Koen Vereecke), who are also direct offspring of Cordula de Laubry.

Grand Slam’s sire, Gin Flip de Muze Z, is the sensation among the 7-year-olds (1.35m). Since the beginning of this year, he has been making waves under the saddle of Thibeau Spits, with whom he has been stringing together one faultless round after another. This includes the 2024 stallion competition where this combination was flawless.

Gin Flip is a direct grandson of the legendary mare Butterfly Flip, who in 2003, together with her inseparable rider Malin Baryard-Johnsson, was named the best horse-rider combination in the world!
